My services
I believe that every student, regardless of ability to pay, should have access to high quality college admission counseling. Your ability to pay should not be a barrier to accessing advice and assistance as you pursue your college dreams whether you are applying to local community colleges or highly selective institutions. My hourly fee is based on the regional average. I have an initial requirement of 5 hour block of time. After the initial 5 hours have been spent, additional hours are billed.
My hourly fee is based upon an anticipated college list of 10-12 schools. I work with your student to finalize a list by September 1st and if additional schools are added after that date an additional fee is charged.
If you want to know more about my fee structure, give me a call! I'd love to talk with you.

For Rising SeniorsRising seniors need a comprehensive work plan for getting to college. Second semester junior year is the perfect time to begin the college search process. Taking a deep dive into what a student is looking for on a college campus whether that is based on major, ROI, geography, diversity or the many factors that students balance to find a place where they will thrive is one of the many subjects we will tackle. Together we will begin to assess where students might want to spend their college years and through their research and my expertise we will create a list of schools. Over the course of the next six months, we will work together on each aspect of the application "package" - college research, brag sheet/resume writing, essay brainstorming, creating, drafting, learning about the different applications (Common App, University of California and California State Applications). Finally, we will work together as your student imagines, creates, and finally drafts their personal statement and supplemental essays and completes the application.

For Rising JuniorsAs a sophomore or junior your student may be actively thinking about the college search or avoiding it altogether. Having a professional to assist in creating a work plan, discuss next steps, offer advice of how to course plan or think about the future can be invaluable in reducing stress and keeping everyone moving forward.
Students should think critically about how they will approach summer plans - internships, jobs, volunteer experiences are important ways to build a resume. Additionally developing a course plan to achieve academic goals and position themselves for college acceptances is also important. r are important times to consider these key components to an application package. I am happy to talk with you and your student for a free consultation where we can discuss course planning, how to approach a college search, college visits, and testing plans.I |
